Have you ever wondered how people do star trails, make running water look soft, or get a close-up picture in perfect focus with a blurry background? I can teach you how to do all of those things!
I specialize in digital photography, so a digital SLR is required for best results (What's a DSLR?). Point-and-shoot cameras are getting very good, but in order to learn all you need to know, you need to be able to use all manual settings and have the most flexibility possible, including the ability to change lenses.
I can either sit down with you one-one-one for a couple of hours and explain the basics, or we can go out shooting for an entire day so you can get some hands-on practice. It all depends on your current skill level and what kind of equipment you have.
| Level | Rate | What's Covered | Prereq. Knowledge |

| Intermediate | $30/hour or $180/day* | correct exposure settings, histograms, tripods, filters, meta data, more editing | know your camera's settings and menus |
| Advanced | $35/hour or $200/day* | white balance, controlling noise, low lighting, more on shutter speeds, storage and backup, cable release, more advanced editing techniques | correct exposure settings, tripods, basic knowledge of filters |
